orzo
1 onion, finely diced
1 minced garlic clove
1 carrot, shredded
2 ½ C chicken stock -HAVE HOT
3 T butter or olive oil
½ C grated parmesan
1 large T butter
Sautee onion and garlic in 3 T butter or olive oil until
softened, add orzo and stir until orzo begins to turn
golden. Place into a casserole that has a lid, add hot
chicken stock and carrot, stir to combine, Bake 30 –40 min
at 350F. Stir in parmesan and last of butter at serving
time. |
